The role of Hospitality & Events Manager The role involves managing site specific Conference & Banqueting and match day hospitality services. You will be involved in providing an excellent level of service, aiming to maximise the profitability of the contract. With over 40 hospitality boxes and 8 suites, you will ensure that the brand values and standards are delivered to the highest of standards.
Reporting to the C&B Manager we are looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual who will interact frequently with customers and guests to learn about their needs and develop relationships from which to earn repeat and expanded business.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES :-
Ensuring all conference & event organisers and guests receive a Whites welcome and consistent service standard throughout their event.
Attending pre-con meetings with clients as required to discuss event requirements
Set up of areas for conference, event and match day in line with company standards and business requirements
Ensuring clear & effective briefing of staff daily and for each conference and event
Management of staff ensuring correct presentation and service delivery standards
Ensuring high standards of bar and beverage service in line with financial and service targets
Driving sales throughout the department through effective communication of targets and ensuring capture of all revenue
Control of costs through awareness of payroll, F & B and financial controls
Supporting departmental recruitment and development of team
Driving Heathcote & Co customer service culture throughout department
Must have knowledge and experience of working within the events and hospitality industry
Successful candidates will ideally have an Event Management background. You will be commercially aware with a strong business acumen. As a motivational person, you will naturally be able to lead teams and deliver on excellent relationship and networking skills. Whilst being a strong communicator, negotiator and planner.
This is a full-time role working 5 days out of 7 to the demand of the business. Salary dependent on experience £16,000 -£18,000. Please forward CV’s demonstrating your skills and experience.
